Our opening times are Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 10am to 4pm and 10am to 5pm on Saturdays. 

Our shop will also be open on Mothers Day, Sunday 30th March 10am - 1pm (please note the café will be closed).

Our Café serves Breakfast from 10am and lunch from noon until 2pm (until 3pm on Saturdays) and serves Afternoon Tea from 12 noon.

Gorgonzola Piccante (a cut of whole cheese)

Dense, spicy and mouth-filling.

First made in the caves of Valassina in Gorgonzola, by travelling cow herders in the 9th century. CasArrigoni select the cheeses that will have a sharper taste and denser consistency than their Dolces, and age them for longer too.

A distinctly bolder, more assertive cheese than its soft and gentle siblings. Gorgonzola Piccante has a firmer paste with a close, dense, mouth-filling texture. The blue veins are more developed and lend the cheese an intense and spicy character. A decidedly grown-up, sophisticated and utterly delicious cheese.

Ingredients: cow's milk, salt, rennet (not vegetarian)
